Alternatively, you can use the 2.4GHz wireless USB dongle for a connection, with a transmission distance of up to 100m/330ft in a barrier-free environment. Additionally, you can connect the scanner to your device using the USB cable for wired operation, allowing you to scan barcodes while charging the device.

Note that the transmission distance may decrease as the number of obstacles increases. The scanner is not compatible with 2D barcodes, such as QR codes or PDF417, nor can it read barcodes from silver foil paper that reflects light.

Scanning modes: The 3-in-1 barcode scanner offers two scanning modes to suit your preferences. In Manual Trigger Mode, the scanner starts reading after you press the trigger. It supports various barcode types, including EAN8, EAN13, UPCE, UPCA, Codebar, Code11, Code39, Code93FullASCll, Code128, Interleave 2 of 5, Industrial 2 of 5, MSI, ISBN/ISSN, and China post code. Additionally, it can read 1D UPS, USPS, FedEx, and DHL barcodes.

Note that the scanner may not be fully compatible with Square POS, as Square has its own custom scanner to prevent the use of other brands' barcode scanners in their system. However, the scanner can still scan item barcodes into the search box, and you can manually click the searched item to add it to the bill.
